An oiled yearling loggerhead sea turtle awaits transport to the rehab center in Venice, LA.

A mere five hours after my plane landed in Louisiana, I found myself standing by a dock in Cypress Cove Marina, photographing two oiled sea turtles who had just been rescued from the Gulf. After weeks of watching news of the oil spill from afar, it was suddenly all too real and I struggled to hold back tears. The turtles were obviously in distress, and it was completely heartbreaking to see. The thing we've all been fearing for so long is happening now--the creatures are paying the price for this debacle.

Bp ,Transocean And Contractors?
Questions to ask.1 Blowout preventers Last test and function of unit.2 Had they been tested on a regular basis? 3 Had they been modified. If so why? Transocean should also be held responsible for deaster.Someone needs to look into these issues. If they had pluged the well they had pipe in the hole and would been able to close the rams and cut the pipe and contain the blowout. They made some type of era or something was not working. The BOP's are the line of defence for oil rigs land or offshore.
Transocean has a lot of questions to answer and need to take care of there mistakes. If Halliburton had something to do with this they to should take care of there issues. Contractors on the job should not be in the back seat And BP up front. Some one failed somewhere and they all need to take part in takeing care of this issue. Not to forget about the 11 workers that lost there lives due to someone cutting a corner.Alot of people will suffer from this oil spill al up and down the Gulf Coast. For Years to come,Wildlife fish birds The hole deal.Hope the Goverment makes sure these companys pay and clean this mess up.Should be held accountable for there action. For as long as it takes. Everyone in the oil indestry will also be affected by this one way or the other jobs or what ever.
