Bird Madness: Feathered Four #1
01/07/2013
Talk about a landslide! Linda Hoopes’ hanging chickadee won the final Egret Eight round with 78% of the votes. Thanks to the nearly 300 people who voted in the most recent matchup.
We almost have this year’s People’s Choice winner; just two Feathered Four rounds and the championship, which will start next Monday, January 14. Today’s matchup pits the eating roadrunner against the regal kestrel. Which suits your fancy?

Here’s how our game has worked until now. Each round of the Soaring Sixteen, we posted two entries from this year’s Audubon Magazine Photo Awards. (Check out our official winners, announced last week, if you haven’t seen them yet.) Those winners went head to head in our Egret Eight round. The top quartet makes it to the Feathered Four, then two onto the championship match.
The ultimate victor of Bird Madness will appear on our website, along with a story about how he or she captured the shot. Vote here! Voting closes on Wed., Jan. 9. Next week, we crown our People’s Choice Bird Madness winner!

The contest is great!
I am a person as an officer for a provider relates to Vietnam visa and flights to foreigners.
An staff of the office about Vietnam flights and visa has an opinion as follows:
And I am a fan for your post. The bird watching is one of my hobbies. Today, I happened to read the text on a contest your bird. Although, it has been closed for the audience can vote, but I still want to write a few lines here as a personal favor for this contest. In my work, there was a visitor offered to give me a woodpecker, but I really regret the Vietnam flights in this country did not agree, so they cannot send me this gift. I think, if I do not have a chance, I will participate in reading your posts. It is probably one of my interests.
Thank you much for this sharing from an office staff about Vietnam visa!
I enjoy
It is the birds that I enjoy

Excellent blog! Do you have any tips for aspiring writers?
I'm hoping to start my own website soon but I'm a little lost on everything.
Would you advise starting with a free platform like Wordpress or go for a paid option?
There are so many options out there that I'm totally confused .. Any recommendations? Many thanks!
Nice Pictures
to first picture: Haizzzzzz...Never Give Up!... I really impressive with this picture. the second one is very beautiful also. When I work for a Minneapolis Company, MN that provides affordable web design price, I have chance to see a lot of beautiful birds. I usually spend time with my friends to the countryside.

Photo choice - the Roadrunner
While the photo of the Kestrel is visually stunning, the moment captured in the lives of both the Roadrunner and the insect is so "impossible" that it is mesmerizing.
